Couch MO FFA
This morning, the Couch FFA officer team gathered to initiate planning for the 2025-2026 school year. They reframed officer pictures from the era known as “The Proffitt Years”. While looking through the photographs, the officers would say, "There's my mom!", or "That's my aunt&hellp;", or "Look at so-and-so from back in (insert year)."
Our goal is to honor our roots to gain insight into our future direction. It’s going to be a fantastic year!

FFA Officer Spotlight
We are proud to highlight Katherine Bennett, the 2025 Couch FFA Chapter Secretary.
- Grade: Sophomore
- Favorite FFA Memories: Attending the National FFA Convention and HYMAX Academy
- Favorite Drink: Sweet Tea
- Favorite Snack: Butterfingers
- Other Involvements: FBLA Reporter, youth for Christ, Student Council, Pep Club, and Beta Club
Katherine joined FFA in August of 2024, inspired by her upbringing on a farm and a desire to grow as a leader. Her connection to FFA runs even deeper, as her father was an active FFA Alumni member. After his passing in April, FFA became a meaningful way for Katherine to honor his legacy and carry on their shared love for agriculture.
One of her most impactful FFA experiences was attending HYMAX Academy, where she gained valuable leadership skills and had the opportunity to connect with passionate members from across the state.
Her goal this year is to help the chapter grow stronger by making sure every member feels welcome, included, and involved. She hopes to work alongside the officer team to create fun and memorable events, boost participation, and make this year one to remember for both new and returning members.
