School Board Elections

The Couch R-I School District encourages qualified persons interested in running for the position on the school board to file to be a candidate in the April 2, 2024 election. Interested persons may file at the Superintendent's offices located at 22206 MO 142, Myrtle, MO 65778. For more information please contact Melissa Bennett at 417-938-0039. Filing will begin on Tues., Dec. 5, 2023 at 8 a.m. and will continue during the district's regular business hours, which are Tuesday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Except the first and last days of the filing. Fillings will not occur on days with inclement weather or on days that the district is closed for holidays and breaks. Scheduled office closures are Dec. 22-25. Special filing hours for Dec. 26, 2023 will be Noon - 5 p.m. The last day to file is Tues., Dec. 26, 2023.

There are 2 positions available with three-year terms.
