District Championship Bound

Congratulations to our Lady Indians on advancing to the District Championship Game! We are so proud of their hard work, determination, and the way they represent our school and community.

They will take on Chadwick for the district title!

• 📍 Location: Galena High School
• 📅 Date: Friday, February 27
• ⏰ Time: 6:00 PM

Let’s pack the stands and show our support as they compete for the championship!

🚌 Pep Bus Information:

We will plan to take a pep bus for students in grades 7–12 if 20 or more students sign up.

• The bus will leave school at 2:30 PM Friday afternoon to make it to the game.
• Students will need $6 for admission plus additional money for food.

🎟 Ticket Information:

Tickets are $6 each and can be purchased at: hometownticketing.com.

The Missouri State High School Activities Association (MSHSAA) will stream the game at MSHAA.tv.

The cost to watch from home is $10.00.

• Congratulations to the Lady Indians and Indians for advancing to the basketball district finals!
• The Lady Indians take on Chadwick for the district title TONIGHT at Galena, 6pm.

• Fun Fact Friday, The girls and boys basketball teams have not been to the district finals together since 1976!

Get ready-the Scholastic Book Fair is coming to our school! This is a great opportunity to build your child's home library with new books they'll dive into again and again.

The easiest way to let your child shop the Fair independently is by creating an eWallet. It's easy to set up and easy for others to add funds.

Create an eWallet, and you'll also have the opportunity to contribute to Share the Fair - the giving program that supports students at our school who need help buying books. Consider participating so that no child leaves the Fair empty-handed!

MO FFA

Greenhouse class spent time in the greenhouse today getting their hands dirty. They potted up some propagated plants and repotted others, while also starting to shift into planning mode. It’s time to really think about what we’ll be planting for our spring plant sale and how we want things to look this season. Couch MO FFA

Almost there 👏 After a few days of work, which really turned into a few weeks with all the sick days and snow days, students have just a few steps left on assembling our industrial dust collector. They’ve stayed patient, worked as a team, and picked right back up each time we were back in the shop by following instructions and using the correct tools. We should have it finished up and ready to use tomorrow, and they’ve done a great job sticking with the project from start to finish.
