Welcome to the Tribe: Anthony Collins
Experience: I graduated from Alton High School in 2006. From there I went on to Missouri State University and received my Bachelors degree (Major in Mathematics with a Minor in English) in 2010. I decided during my junior year of college that I would pursue a career in teaching, so after finishing my coursework I went through the ABCTE program to obtain a teaching certificate. I went back to school and finished my Masters in Educational Administration in 2021. I have spent the past 14 years working in a high school math classroom. I have coached multiple sports over the course of my career, but I am looking forward to enjoying the games as a fan (and a parent) from this point on!
A little about myself: I have been married to my wife (Kayla) for 16 years. We have 5 children: Olivia (13), Adalynd (11), Cole (6), Noah (4), and Willow (1). We enjoy spending time together outside with the kids, gardening, cooking and attending church. I love watching sports (St. Louis Cardinals and Kansas City Chiefs).
I started my career as a teacher at Couch High School in 2010-2011 and am grateful that I have been blessed with the opportunity to come back!
