Congratulations

So proud of our Couch FFA members tonight! 💙💛 We attended the Area 16 FFA Banquet and had several members recognized for their accomplishments at the area level for the 2025–2026 year. FFA members were recognized for Area LDEs, proficiency awards, and Area Degrees. What an incredible year it has been!

As we were leaving, Mrs. Parker was handed the District 1st Place plaque for Conduct of Chapter Meetings! 🏆 What an exciting way to end the night!

We are beyond proud of this group for stepping out of their comfort zones, trying new things, and representing our chapter so well. Their hard work, growth, and willingness to jump in says so much about who they are.

The future is bright, and there is no doubt these students are going to go on to do amazing things. I am so proud to be their advisor and excited to see what’s next for Couch FFA! 🌟

We are so proud of our FBLA members! We have brought back Hi-Step which will now be called FBLA STEP (Students Teaching Elementary Peers). Their topic this month was Teamwork. Next year we plan for FBLA students to go into each elementary classroom one time a month to teach about one leadership or personal trait. Celebrate

Please come join Couch R-1 School District in celebrating the amazing achievement of Mrs. Kathy Huddleston.

Kathy Huddleston has served the Couch Community for 50 Years as the Librarian. This is an incredible accomplishment. As the average educational career is a mere 12 to 14 years, Kathy has well exceeded that. Providing all those she has served with kindness, understanding and a warm smile. It is even more exciting to celebrate the fact that Mrs. Huddleston will continue to serve our community and help educate students for years to come.

We welcome you to celebrate this momentous occasion with us on Wednesday, Apr 29, 2026 at 4 pm at Couch High School Gymnasium.

If you would like to give a card or gift to Mrs. Huddleston and can not attend, please send them to : Kathy Huddleston ℅ Couch High School at: 22206 MO 142 Myrtle, MO 65778.

Any questions about this event can be directed to Jo Dee Trader at 417-938-4212 ext 2
