The Couch R-I School District would like to announce that Anthony Collins has been hired as the district’s Superintendent for the 2026–2027 school year, effective July 1, 2026.
Anthony Collins has dedicated 16 years to education, including 14 years as a high school mathematics teacher and the past two years as Junior High/High School Principal and Federal Programs Director at Couch R-I School District. He holds a Master of Science in Educational Administration and a Specialist degree in Educational Administration with an emphasis in Superintendency from Missouri State University.
Anthony and his wife, Kayla, have been married for 18 years. Kayla serves the district as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) and Art Teacher. Together, they are the proud parents of five children: Olivia (15), Adalynd (12), Cole (8), Noah (6), and Willow (3). All five of their children attend or will attend Couch R-I School District.
Mr. Collins is committed to supporting student success, fostering strong relationships, and building on the traditions of excellence that make Couch R-I a special place for students, staff, and families.
